Travis Roozée is an artist and professional photographer. His personal works examines micro-level forces relating to population expansion, consumption, the impact of industrial practices on the landscape, and material decay. Recent projects merge 19th century chemical processes with virtually conceived subject matter. The resulting images reference deteriorated landscapes and chaotic assemblages that sometimes allude to real world scenarios.
Mr Roozée’s work has been included in numerous exhibitions, including solo shows at the Museum of the City of New York, Arsenal Gallery, and 0.00156 Acres, all in New York City. Select group exhibitions include Houston Center for Photography's 36th Annual Juried Membership Exhibition (upcoming), Deception at Filter Photo in Chicago, curated by Brian Paul Clamp of ClampArt NYC, and I Like You and I Together at Butter Projects in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Travis Roozée collaborates with a diverse group of commercial clients, including: Airbnb, Ania Jaworska & Associates, Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine, DWDW Design Workshop, Eastern Surf Magazine, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and Preservation Magazine.
