Parkway, 2016, from Urbs In Horto. As my rendering skills evolved and the series morphed, I began to add surface texture, patterns, and visual noise to my virtual representations.

Razzle, from Urbs In Horto series, 2016. Preinstalled CAD patterns do not work at small scale, so I developed custom hatches to represent surface texture. Enlarged, it reveals its form. Based on ship camouflage from World War II, these dazzle designs were not meant to conceal a ship, but disorient, distort, and confuse.

Marker #3, from Illiana series, 2015. Cast concrete markers fabricated and positioned in critical locations along the Illinois and Indiana state line. They indicate obvious and obscured elements in the surrounding landscape.

Marker #4, from Illiana series, 2016. These objects were conceived through a self-directed process that involved prototyping, trial, and error. My hope is that Spudnik's screen printing workshop would streamline the learning process, allowing for targeted experimentation.
